
Archil Sikharulidze is the founder of the Tbilisi-based research institute, the SIKHA foundation (Georgia). He holds master’s degrees in International Relations from Tbilisi State University (MA, TSU, Georgia) and in Public Administration from Robert Gordon University (MPA, Aberdeen, Scotland, UK).
His research focuses on Russian and Islamic Studies, as well as political developments in the South Caucasus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan; finally, higher education system reform in Georgia.

Nino Skvortsova is a senior researcher at the Tbilisi-based SIKHA Foundation (Georgia). She is a PhD candidate in Political Science at Kuban State University and a PhD candidate in Media and Communications at the People’s Friendship University of Russia. She also holds a master’s degree in International Relations and a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences.
Her research interests include regional studies of the South Caucasus, Georgia’s domestic and foreign policy, and Russian public diplomacy in the CIS. She is also engaged in media studies, with a focus on political communication and strategic culture.
Currently, Nino is pursuing Islamic studies, with a particular interest in the political philosophy of Islam and contemporary Muslim societies in the Caucasus and neighboring regions.
